What's My Skin Type?

You know how they say that beauty comes from within? We know you've heard it a million times before, but it's true. And that means that the way you treat yourself is showing up on your skin. Each of us has different skin types, but we are all the same. We all want healthy looking and radiant skin. There are four primary skin types normal, oily, combination, and dry. Each type has different characteristics that affect how you should care for your skin. But how do you actually figure out which one you have?

Identify your skin type in 3 easy steps.

Step 1- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser to remove all impurities.

Step 2- Pat dry your face with a clean towel and leave skin bare. Please avoid touching and applying any products.

Steps 3- After an hour look closely to examine your skin status and compare characteristics to the four skin types below.

 

 Dry skin

-Pore size small not easily noticed

-After cleaning face has very little oil

-No blemishes

-When you touch face it is rough and slightly tight.

 

Normal skin

-Pore size medium all over

-Good water oil balance

-Have no blemishes

-Smooth and blemishes free

 

Combination skin

-Medium to large particularly around t zone

-More oil in certain areas than others

-Minimal blemishes

-Flaky in some areas and dehydrated

 

Oily skin

-Large and visible all over

-Excessive oil , feel greasy

-Blemishes and bumps are common

-Thicker and shiny
